Nope, it isn’t some magical hack that has never been heard before that would transform us into ultra-productive human beings.

Neither is it also some over the top, pretentious morning routine that would set us up for lifelong success.

Instead, the skill is being able to focus.

He mentioned that “the problem today isn’t that we don’t know what to do, but that we lack the focus to do the things that we have to do.”

And I couldn’t help but agree with what he said.

For example, when I had a Mathematics examination coming up in school, I knew the topics that were going to be tested and I knew that I had to practise some questions to understand the mathematical concepts.

Yet, it often took a great deal of activation energy just to get down and work mainly because I was swamped with distractions. There was always something else to do besides revising for the examination.

More often than not, when examinations finally came around, I regretted not putting in just a little more effort over the past few weeks.

If you can somewhat empathise with how I feel, be it losing focus over your studies, work, or anything that requires concentration, don’t worry! Today, I will be unpacking exactly how we can focus better so that we can achieve more in less time with lesser stress.

In his video, Joey mentioned how we could alter our physical and digital environment to help us focus.
