Why is America tolerating saudi Arabia?

The USA likes to pride itself about their tenacity when fighting terrorism. they talk about how we are destroying the Taliban or ISIS, and how we are making the world a safer place.

But how can we claim to fight terrorism when we cozy up to a country that kills American employed journalists?

A country that oppresses its women and minorities?

where being gay can get you imprisoned or stoned to death?

Saudi Arabia has reportedly killed thousands of civilians in the Yemeni intervention, and have indirectly starved thousands more.

Saudi Arabia king, Mohammed bin Salman, also reportedly ordered the execution of Jamal Khashoggi, a journalist and contributor for the washington post, in 2018. The saudi government have imprisoned activists, incited war through proxy, and caused mayhem and human rights abuses wherever they are.

So why do the USA still support Saudi Arabia?

I dont know.
