I don’t think my dependence on my phone is a huge problem because of my generation and surroundings. Most people I know who are my age are very dependent on their phones. It doesn’t stop me from getting important things done. Its become a part of life and as a generation we are adjusting to the technology.

I use my phone for social media, when I’m bored. I alternate between instagram, my email, Tik Tok, facebook, and snapchat almost every time I open my phone mindlessly. I use my phone to call my grandma every day and to text my mom and friends. I like being able to google something easily and instantly. I definitely check my phone a lot. It has become like a nervous habit to refresh my email or check snapchat. I would estimate that I spend at least 5 hours a day. More time on the weekends since I don’t have class I stay in bed and watch Tik Toks for a while. Its something I enjoy doing though, it relaxes me and is entertaining.

my favorite apps to use are probably Snapchat, Netflix, and Tik Tok. I use snapchat to communicate mostly. Netlfix I use to watch TV while I’m doing other things like design homework or cleaning my room. and Tik Tok is when I’m bored and have nothing else to do.
